Scarce Birmingham & South Wales (Warwickshire) copper penny token dated 1812. Obverse: Prince of Wales’ triple-plumed crest in centre and legend round periphery: “BIRMINGHAM & SOUTH WALES * 1812 *”. Reverse: Horse in centre and legend round periphery: “ONE PENNY COPPER TOKEN”. Engrailed edge (//////). Listed in Paul & Bente Withers' "British Copper Tokens 1811-1820" as "SCARCE" . Good collectable condition. Detail is crisp. Although I am no expert I would hazard a guess that it is Extremely Fine, but you can judge for yourself from the photos
