cylindrical-form glass vase with pink/mauve ground and pond lily polychrome decoration attributed to Annie Nye, brass lining and drop-in font, cast brass base with floral embossing and three stub toes. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 2 E. Miller & Co. Duplex burner, deep acid-etched colorless and frosted ball-form shade with assorted fisherman scenes, and a colorless marked Acme Duplex chimney. Non-period shade ring.Attribution: Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Circa: 1880-1887. Condition: Excellent condition, exterior shallow flake to vase near rim and minor wear to decoration, possible older resoldering to base of brass font, some minor discoloration to base. Setup undamaged, shade holder with scattered corrosion. Size: 19 1/4" H to top of shade, 10" H to top of collar, 6 1/2" D foot. Shade 7" H, 4" D fitter.
