In this auction we are offering a very interesting box lot of RARE,old, saint bernadette pieces. The wooden Box itself is ONE OF A KIND convent art. This wooden box was actually handcrafted by a french canadian nun by the name of:Sister Leonie Richison All of these items came from her personal/private collection and were obtained through a estate sale. The Wooden box measures approx: 7 1/2" wide X 3 1/2" The lid has a glass window with a very BEAUTIFUL & INTERESTING life like accurate photo image of sister marie bernards death which happen in 1879 in the nevers convents infirmary. When i first seen this image..it actually gave me goosebumps..it truly did. Now the box is lined w/ a mustard seed color velvet like material and contains 20 items in all 1 metal ornate italian picture frame that has a very RARE photo of bernadette on her knees in prayer w/ rosary around the time of the 1858 apparitions.There are a assortment of rare old antique french postcards. Plus a few Cdv style photos/images.
