You are bidding on a Rumidor Corp Cigar Tobacco Humidor Copper 1929 The humidor was recently obtained from an estate sale, shows well cared for, age is unknown. I believe this is a Vintage copper plate Cigar or Tobacco Humidor made by the Rumidor Corp. of New York . The patent for this humidor was filed on May 18, 1927 and was issued as PAT# 1,704,908 on March 12, 1929 , and was assigned to the Rumidor Corporation in New York City . This humidor is stamped on the bottom of the controller PAT APPLIED FOR US PATENT OFFICE RUMIDOR, RUMIDOR CORPORATION NEW YORK CITY . With this is mind, this humidor would date prior to March 1929. This is a neat copper plated humidor. The humidor is 7 3/4” tall from the bottom to the top. The canister measures inside 5 3/8” tall from the bottom to the top edge, and has a 4 1/8” inside dim. The humidor is in good condition . As with the vintage of the humidor, t is some normal wear, a few light rubs, and scratches and age discoloration, as noted from the photos.
