� BEAUTIFUL SIGNED ROYCROFT HAND HAMMERED COPPER BOOK ENDS We have the privilege to offer you this beautiful signed Roycroft hand hammered copper book ends. A beautiful set. The mark on the book ends make them the middle mark for Roycroft marks, circa 1920 - 1928. Measuring 5 1/4" high and the bases measure 4 3/16" x 3 1/4". They are in wonderful condition, having no cracks, hairlines or repairs. Wear commensurate to age and use. The patina is just beautiful and the bases have felt bottoms. There is a little of what looks to be white paint on one of the book ends, more than likely can get this off and it definitely does not take away from this gorgeous set. This is such a gorgeous and exquisite set that would definitely be a great addition for a gentleman at his desk or office or even for a Roycroft collector. Good luck and !!!! Wood tends to get stress fractures on support systems and where wide board construction is used. 85% of 18th Century veneers have had some restoration during their life. Pine secondary woods might fracture, making overlays and veneers have the same fracture lines. Old finishes might alligator, fade, fisheye or darken, depending on where the pieces were placed.
