Royal Crown Derby bone china figurine of a seated teddy bear, decorated in an Imari pattern (underside shows LX), of gold, blue and red. The bear has long arms (like an old-fashioned teddy bear), and a very sweet face. He is "dressed" in a blue bow tie and an elaborately patterned waistcoat. The ends of his paws are also very elaborately decorated. Approximate dimensions: 4 ½" tall, 4" deep, and 2 ¼" wide (across the base). The piece is officially a paperweight, thus the stopper in the bottom that allows the figure to be filled with sand. It can also be displayed as an objet d'art without the filling. Briefly displayed, but in near-mint condition.
