Royal Copenhagen Early Art Nouveau Porcelain Crab Description: An extremely rare, undocumented example of Royal Copenhagen porcelain , circa 1903, featuring a sculpture, in the form of a crab, composed of solid porcelain and glazed in a deep smoke-gray high-gloss. The top shell section features an ultra-realistic depiction including extremely subtle undulations and raised ridges. Marks include the three-river mark in underglaze blue, the "12" painter's mark in underglaze blue and the model number, "489", in underglaze green. Approx. 6 1/4" long, 1 3/4" tall and 3 3/4" from front to back. Mint condition . *USPS Shipping Insurance Required*
