ROYAL CAULDON Haywood X2894 Yellow Sweat Pea Fower Dinner Plate 11 3/8” This is one of a number (12) wonderful dinner plates by Royal Cauldon. This plate which measures approximately 11 3/8” in dia, is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing and vibrantly colored (please refer to photos). The plate is marked “CAULDON ENGLAND EST 1744, MADE IN ENGLAND, with the pattern number X2894. Some references indicate that this mark was used by Cauldon LTD between c1920-1930, however there is an impressed “48” mark on most of these 12 plates which I believe dates these plates to c1948 and manufactured by Cauldon Potteries Ltd. Please note, the name of the flowers is my best guess, and may not be accurate, welcome any feedback.
