This a listing for a Bisque Rosenthal "Sitted Girl Surprised" #1669 by R. Kaesbach. Introduced in 1937. The figurine is 12" tall. The #1669 is incised on the bottom. The trademark shows the crown, Rosenthal, Germany, Kunstabteilung and Selb. The biography shows Kaesbach at Selb between 1936 - 1939. There is a hairline crack on the bottom about 3 1/2" long in the center of the bottom approximately 1 1/2" from either edge of the figurine. There are no other chips, cracks crazing or repairs. Insurance, If requested is at the xpense of the purchaser. Let me know. Incised "R. Kaesbach" is shown on the base, back side.
