Up for your consideration is a Rorstrand of Sweden blue glazed bowl. In the center of the bowl is a shield with a castle with three towers. On the inside of the bowl are various pictures under the glaze--a church with steeple, an adult and child walking with a banner, a mansion house, a warrior, a fort, a plaque reading "Tre Stjarnor" over three stars, and a rifle beneath. The back is marked on a brown ground -- R surrounded by three crowns, Sweden, and the interlocking initials B L (that I believe stand for Bertil Lundgren). The bowl measures 6 3/8 inches across. It stands about 2 inches high. The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a few faint utensil lines on the inside of the bowl. There is a shiny u-shaped mark on the outside of the bowl (see the last photo). It is very hard to see. Please see the photos.Good luck bidding!
