ROOSEVELT & LEHMAN QUARTET OF NEW YORK GUBERNATORIAL POSTERS.

Pricing & History
Each is 14x22" on cardboard. T. J. Hayes Printing Co. The Roosevelt and two Lehman for Lt. Governor posters have slight even aging w/only light wear otherwise. Extremely Fine. The Lehman for Governor has some scattered moisture marks, most notably in bottom left corner, as well as moderate handling and surface wear and faint scattered staining. Fine. Having experienced the Wall Street crash during his first term as Governor, FDR approached this re-election campaign continuing the themes of his 1928 campaign reiterating to voters that "Progressive Government By Its Very Terms Must Be A Living And Growing Thing" and calling for unemployment insurance as well as old-age pensions. The policies helped him stay put in the Governor's mansion and foreshadowed the programs he would later develop as President.
