This Rookwood vellum vase stands 10.75" tall. The body of the vase is light gray shading to light green at the base. The decoration one white iris in bloom plus a couple unopened buds is artist signed Carl Schmidt. Crazing is tight and inoffensive. The vase is shape 1667 and is dated 1910. NOTE this vase is X'd as a second and there is restoration all the way around the top of the vase above the shoulder (photos 6-7). Presumably there was an issue with glaze scaling on the lip which would account for the X. The restoration is excellent, noticeable only for the lack of crazing. This vase is guaranteed to have no other restorations. The winning bidder pays for shipping and insurance. The shipping fee includes insurance. Shipping will be by USPS or FedEx.
