Up for auction is this magnificent piece of history. It is a mint Rookwood Pitcher with standard glaze. It is signed Edith Regina. Adorned with a leaf and berry decoration, it has hues of green, brown amber and yellow. This is probably the best executed glaze and decor that i have ever owned. The base is marked 1990. It stands 4 1/4in. This is in excellent condition with very minor crazing commiserate with age. You can come buy Ga. and look at her or picker up. T are absolutely NO cracks, dings or repairs. Good Luck, lovinlife 4kids FYI, the signature of the decorator on this piece is ERF which is the cypher of Elizabeth Regina Felton. She worked at Rookwood from 1896 to 1908. She ranks rather low on the list of the quality decorators with a "D" by Anita Ellis, the Rookwood expert, author and curator at the Cincinnati Museum of Art. You dated it as 1990. It's hard for me to make out the number of rays on the Rookwood monogram, but it might be 14. If it is, the date would be 1900...subtract a year for each ray less than 14. please accept these changes and im sorry for the error. I am just learning.
