Rookwood American Art Pottery Arts & Crafts Crystalline Description: A classically tapered gourd-form by Rookwood featuring a raised design of vertical artichoke spears glazed in a complex matte of dark and light slate blues speckled throughout with an amoeba-crystalline. The majority of the mark is glaze-obscured, however, three roman numeral ones and the last digit of the shape number remain visable. Circa 1920's. Approx. 6" x 3 1/2". MINT CONDITION.
