Roman Ancient Glass Fragment Beads, Amber ~Enlarged to show detail~ ~Not a finished necklace~ This is one 21"strand of authentic ancient Roman glass beads from the Middle East. (Not a finished necklace) These are scarce and very desirable glass beads, made from glass dating back to circa A.D. 400 to 700. Enlarged to show details These ancient small glass beads are made from fragments of broken bowls, vessels, etc. from the Middle East. They have been re-worked into these beads. Beads measure 4-19mm long. Colors are blue and black, green, with yellow/blue/white glass decor fragments still attached! The beads have varying thickness, irregularities, & age encrustations given their age and travels. Strung with genuine Baltic amber spacer beads and silver metal heishi beads.
