Recently acquired is this very nice Rogers & Hamilton silver-plate 10 1/2" ladle in the 19th century "Newport" pattern. This pattern was introduced in the 1880s or 1890s, and it has wonderful aesthetic decoration. It is marked on the back of the handle as shown in my photo (Rogers & Hamilton A1). This is a good sized ladle which can be used for serving a wide variety of items including punch, soup, stews, etc. Condition is generally very good, with only some slight scratching from normal use and some very minor silver loss (e.g., near the heel, see photo of a small area). See my other eBay listings for more interesting items. Terms: I accept Buyer to pay for Insured PRIORITY mail in a sturdy box. NJ shipping addresses add 7% sales tax. I make every effort to mail items within one or two business days after payment is received (depending on my schedule). Sorry, I am NOT willing to ship this item internationally unless contacted in advance by a bidder so I can quote the shipping cost. I ONLY offer refunds when I have inadvertently made a MAJOR misrepresentation of the item, and I have very good customer satisfaction since I make every effort to describe items accurately. Please email me if you have ANY questions before you bid. Payment is expected within 5 days unless prior arrangements are made.
