the circular molded edge top revolving over a bird-cage support featuring simple turned columns, above a bold baluster standard, raised on a tripodal base having three cabriole legs with small ridge at upper knees and ending in substantial pad feet. Retains a fine old surface with rich color.Circa: Late 18th/early 19th century. Condition: Old cracks and repairs to feet, including one with old attached iron support strap to underside (all parts appear original). Top with minor wear and small area of loss to molded edge. Size: 30" H, 20 1/2" D top. Provenance: Provenance: From a Shenandoah Valley private collection.Purchased from Charlie Lohr, Broadway, VA, 1999.
