RARE ORREFORS THOUSAND WINDOWS BOWL SIGNED & NUMBERED This is absolutely GEORGOUS! The Thousand Windows Collection was designed by Simon Gate for Orrefors in 1934. It is in MINT condition due to the fact I have had this piece in my china cabinet for many years. I actually do not remember what year I got it. I think it was over 18 years ago, but it could have been longer. It has only been moved for me to clean the shelf under it and to take these pictures. I do not have the box.It is 5.1âe High, 7âe wide, and weighs close to 5 ½ pounds. The rim is ½âethick This is (etched) Signed and Numbered on the underside (See pictures). The bowl is hand made lead crystal and rings clear as a bell. EXQUISITE! When this was designed it was made so when you look through one of the concave lenses, you get a multiplication effect so that it looks like t are many more lenses than t really are. T are 8 lenses on this piece as you can see in the picture. It has no chips, nicks, bubbles, flea bites or scratches that I can find. It is one of the older ones since I have had this since I got it. I believe this originally sold for about $400.00.I have other items on Ebay and have an excellent record of 100%. I try to describe my items as if I were the Buyer.
