RARE EDWIN MEADERS PITCHER - southern folk pottery Seldom does one find any item made by Edwin Meaders with this rare and very early medium blue color. This seven inch tall, and almost seven inch wide pitcher is awesome. Signed 'Edwin Meaders on the bottom and dated 11-26-1987. The piece is early and beautifully primitive. The glaze has various shades of blue, and all kinds of little clay and glaze imperfections that make it so fabulous. T are no chips, dings, cracks, hairlines etc. Some of the glaze has a rough texture. Some is smooth as can be. I just love this piece, and you will too!!! I will ship UPS ground, insured, for $25.
