Up for auction is this 1939 World's Fair straight razor. This is a very nice old straight razor. The front of the tang is marked "World's 1939 Fair San Francisco", and the back of the tang is stamped "Gates City Laboratories Oakland, Calif." On the handle it is stamped "World's 1939 Fair San Francisco." The razor has been used, but not abused. The razor handle is a yellow celluloid, in excellent condition, with no breaks or cracks. It has a silver-like design at each pin of the razor. The handle is appr. 5" long, and the blade is appr. 5 1/4" long. It comes with the original box, that is printed "Gates City Laboratories Oakland, Calif. World's 1939 Fair." Overall, the razor is in excellent shape.
