Check out this great early 1920's "PLOW BOY CHEWING AND SMOKING TOBACCO" tin pail! It's 6" tall and 5-1/4" diameter with a super multi-colored paper label going clear around the pail, picturing a handsome young farm boy taking a break from plowing, smoking a pipeful of "PLOW BOY!" T are cows pictured on the reverse. This is a hard tin to find in any condition but this has to be the cleanest one of these we've ever seen. The label is crisp & bright and it has it's original lid and bail handle. What's really amazing is the can itself. T's none of the usual rust usually found on unpainted tin, particularly the lid. The bottom of the pail is so clean you can see your reflection. T are just a few smudge spots on the reverse of the label on the right side and a tiny 3/8 x 2/8" sliver of label missing (also on the reverse) but none of this detracts from the great overall look of the pail. The front (display side) is super! Manufactured by SPAULDING & MERRICK BRANCH OF LIGGETT & MYERS TOBACCO CO. CHICAGO. A honey of a tin!
