Up for auction I am offering one of the most eye catching -PURPLE QUART FRUIT JARS - I have ever had to offer. The jar is in great condition having no chips cracks or breaks. The embossing is strong and clear. The slug plate is clear and the embossing reads as follows-THE SMALLEY SELF SEALER WIDEMOUTH. On the bottom of the jar the embossing reads -A. G. SMALLEY & CO. INC. BOSTON MASS. I have been told the reason this jar is purple is it has been irritated. It may have been but all I know is it is absolutely beautiful. This one will make a great addition to any collection Happy Biidding
