Primitive Antique Early Wood St Bernard Rescue Keg Found in New England, this is a nice old small wood keg that was made for a rescue St. Bernard Dog to carry. Made of old wood it has been hand carved including the top spout and the little brackets on top that would attach to the dog's collar. It has a primitive shape, original wood finish, and an old age crack on one side. There are metal (maybe brass?) strips that are attached around the two ends. A great early primitive collectible in good antique condition. Keg measures 9" long, about 7.5" tall and just under 5" deep at the widest point.
