Original post-WWI USMC Officer's "Seal Fur" Winter Field Service Cap - Size 7 1/4 - Very Nice Condition - VERY RAREUp for auction is an Original post-WWI Era USMC Officer's "Seal Fur" Winter Field Service Cap. This cap is used, see photo's for Condition. One minor hole on the internal lining. It is an estimated size 7 1/4. This cap is lined with satin fabric material. It can be worn with ear flaps up, as show in the photo. Or, with the down to warm the ears. It has a 1930's vintage Officer's EGA on the cap. There is a manufacturer's label in the cap: U.S. Govt. Genuine Alaska Seal Flanks. This is the type of cap that was worn by the Marines stationed in China and Korea during the 1920's to 1940's. These are Very RARE.
