Brilliantly colored parrot on a gold luster tree stump with its adorable plump chick nearby. This porcelain flower frog was meant to stand in a basin of water and support flower or greenery arrangements in the openings in the tree trunk. Marked "Made in Japan" underneath. Mid-20th century.
