FOR SALE VINTAGE POLAROID SX-70 SELF TIMER WITH ORIGINAL BOX AND INSTRUCTIONS! Nothing beats having an SX-70, except when you have the right accessories. The self timer is a useful component to the SX-70 system. Note that these self timers are not electrically activated. They consist of a mechanical timer that moves a lever that trips the red-button when mounted on the SX-70. Simple design. I tested this by simply turning the timing knob to ensure that it starts, and watched the timer knob turn back to its starting position - the lever on the inner portion of the self timer slowly extend out (which would trigger the shutter). Since I don't have my SX-70 anymore, I cannot definitively state that it will work - but sellers that claim it's tested probably aren't even firing it with the SX-70 because you would waste a shot testing the unit (because the SX-70 only fires when it has a film pack loaded with a charged battery....). I can attest that if you wind the knob, it will push out the red firing knob on the unit and as the timer gets close to finishing the trigger lever moves out. For sale to USA PayPal Accounts Only.
