An exceptional Masonic pin.This pin is crafted in the form of a compass and features a round cut white diamond and blue sapphire. Both the compass and pin are solid platinum. The compass detaches from the pin and can easily be worn as a pendant. The reverse of the compass reads "PRESENTED TO WILLIAM E BOUTON P.M. by OCCIDENTAL LODGE No 22 F.& A.M. DEC. 21. 1942". The compass features a .73 carat round cut blue sapphire and .12 carat diamond of supreme quality - F/G color and VS+ clarity.The top half of this piece, the pin, is solid platinum as well with 18k white gold hardware. It reads "OCCIDENTAL 22".The Masonic Lodge No 22 would meet at King Solomon's Hall in San Francisco, which has unfortunately been demolished and most of the history of the Lodge is lost to time. The absolute quality of this pin speaks to the quality of the members from Lodge 22. For its size, 1 7/8 inches top to bottom, it weighs and IMPRESSIVE 10.8 grams.
