This is a bundle of 6 decks of Pinochle playing cards. There are three decks with red backs and three decks with blue backings. (Please view the additional photos) Pinochle Playing Cards are suitable for ONLY the game of Pinochle. (there are NO 2's, 3', 4's, 5's, 6's, 7's or 8's in Pinochle decks.) 48 cards in a Pinochle Deck. Consist of 2 each number of each suit from 9 through Ace. Example two - 9 of diamonds, two - 9 of spades, two - 9 of clubs, two - 9 of hearts. These are US Playing Card Brand, Premium Quality, Bicycle Brand, Plastic Coated playing cards. Standard playing card size 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches wide (as opposed to bridge width which is slightly narrower.) Large Index Numbers (that means slightly larger than normal numbers.) Large numbers are a delight for anyone who wears eye-glasses. Also works great in low light situations like camping. Pinochle is one of the all time favorite North American card games. It involves winning the trick on each round and melding certain combinations of cards which have point value. (Pinochle has some similarity to whist, hearts and spades.) It is an all-around great family card game for ages 8 and up. Often played with groups of adults as a very social game. Pinochle has a reasonable level of strategy. Only one or two decks of cards needed to play this game. There are several variations to Pinochle including four-handed, racehorse, auction and partnership. Rules for these versions can be found in most playing card game books. This is a bundle of 6 (SIX) decks of Pinochle cards.
