Part of the Brewing Beer In The Buckeye State series, Brewing Beer In The Queen City, Volume VIII gives a pictorial history of the area's longest-lived brand of beer: Wiedemann. First brewed in 1870 in Newport, KY, just blocks from the Ohio River, the brand has gone through several ups and downs, including being brewed in other areas from 1983 to 2007, and being out of production entirely from then until 2012. However, today it has come home and is being produced in St. Bernard, on Cincinnati's north side. This book is spiral bound and contains nearly 600 images, most of which are in color, showing people, buildings, floor plans, advertising, labels, cans, and you name it! 88 pages in length, it is significantly longer than other books in this series, a reflection of the long saga of Wiedemann Beer. The book was published in January 2019.
