For sale is this Philco model 89B radio. It is the two-band, four knob version from 1933. This radio has been recapped and has had out of tolerance resistors replaced. It receives on both bands if you attach a short wire antenna. The radio has it's original knobs and tube shields. The speaker is in good shape and sounds nice. The set has a two position tone control in working condition. The grill cloth and power cord are new replacements. The wooden case is solid and the veneer is in great shape. The set measures 16 x 13 x 10 with a shipping weight of 28 pounds, double boxed. It is being sold without guarantee or warranty due to it's age.
