Published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1911, published simultaneously with the British edition. Illustrated by F. D. Bedford. The book is in Very Good/Very Good plus condition. Dust Jacket is a facimile' reproduction after the original design with priced $1.50 net on the jacket. The olive green cloth boards are beautifully gilted as is the spine and extremely well preserved with nice edges. Minor surface wear to the boards and to the spine. Very slight sun fading to the back cover, hinges inside and out in great shape. Previous owner's stamp present on front paste-down.Tissue guard intact over the frontispiece. Contains 13 half-tone illustrations, including the frontispiece and pictorial title page; corners bumped but still retaining some sharpness, spine tight with all pages fanning easily, GILT to front cover and to spine BRILLIANT, all illustrations are present and are impeccably intact.
