Large forward-facing eyes and ear-holes, a hawk-like beak, a flat face, and conspicuous circle of feathers makes the owl one of the most unique looking birds to ftake flight. The carefully detailed feathers overlap one another. It digs it's talons into the tree branch it perches on, high above all other life. In the veil of the night, the owl looks on, ready to take to the moonlit sky.This sculpture was cast using the ?Lost Wax Method? in a brown patina.
