Up for auction is a PAUL McCOBB CONTEMPRI ECLIPSE Pitcher. Paul McCobb is a well known designer of mid-century furniture. I just recently came across a set of these dishes at a local estate auction and I thought I would take a chance on them. Prior to seeing these dishes, I was unaware that he designed things other than furniture.The pitcher is marked CONTEMPRI/designed by PAUL McCOBB--Japan/JACKSON INTERNATIONALE. The pitcher measures 11.25 inches high. The pitcher has a modern design of blue and green that goes around its middle. Condition is excellent on this modern shaped pitcher. T are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. T are a few minor utensil marks, but no dark black marks. I will be listing some other pieces from this set soon, including a set of 4 bowls, an oil and vinegar set and a serving or vegetable bowl.
