Paul Bocuse FrenchOnion Gratinee Soup Bowl. Pillivuyt Porcelain, Made in France. Gold edges. This bowl comes from the restaurant of world famous Paul Bocuse, who just died in January. This is from his restaurant, Auberge Du Lion D'or in Cologny, Switzerland, which is where I bought the bowl ( Geneva, Switzerland). This classic shape is tied to his restaurants, and are collector's items. This particular bowl has "Children's Action" and drawing of a face on it, with the date 16 December 1998 on it. On the front side is a drawing of the chef, I believe by the artist Carole Gillot.Signed PILLIVUYT Porcelaine France Depuis 1810 on the bottom. Hassome weight to it, lions heads on each side, footed base with ridges, red and blue stripes painted on the ridges. Gold stripe on raised rim on top.About 4" opening diameter, 5" diameter with lion's heads. 3 1/2 " tall.Excellent condition! No cracks, chips, grazing! This collector's item is great for being able to be put into an oven, serving, or displaying! Thanks for shopping!
