No chips, cracks, damage, or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with Palshus, Denmark, PLS for Per Linneman-Schmidt and 439. Vase is 7 1/4" tall and 2 3/4" wide. Palshus was started by Per Linneman-Schmidt and his wife Annelise in Denmark in 1948. The early pieces of Palshus consist of simple arts and crafts style form in superior matte glazes in browns, green, blue, and cream. Later examples of Palshus are typically rough glazed pieces with incising and other decoration. Palshus Pottery closed its door in the early 1970s.
