Pairpoint Aesthetic Acorn Oak Leaf Cake Basket BEAUTIFUL!!!! From Pairpoint Silver is this gorgeous Victorian aesthetic cake basket. The shape simulates that of an oak tree and is open cut with a profusion of oak leaves and acorns. The basket is footed and it rests on unique leaf and acorn feet. The handle is curving and just as ornate as the rest of the basket. The silver is in great condition without dents or dings. It sits level, measures approx. 9" (to top of handle) x 10", bottom impressed with Pairpoint marking. The center of the basket has a few use scratches, expected/minor and does not interfere with use or display of this vintage item. If you collect Charter Oak silverplate flatware, this basket would look beautiful with your service. The photographs don't show the true beauty, or detail of this lovely basket.
