Pair Vintage 1965 French Louis XV Painted & Stenciled Twin Beds Drexel Touraine Here we have a nice pair of beds that lived with the same family since new in circa 1965-1967. They are all original finish and decoration stenciling from the factory. The previous owner collected a few pieces from this line and we are offering them now. These beds are in good condition with very well preserved original finish and they are very strong and sturdy with no structural issues. They must have been very well cared for or stored well. There are a few scratches and nicks from expected wear but probably from moving from here to there. We did see moving stickers here and there from the bedroom set these were from. This pair would have been the pride and joy of some couple or two sisters back then. They were made by the Drexel Furniture Company. They had quite a reputation and their furniture will last forever because of the strong leadership, materials and proud craftsmanship in that era at this firm. Standard Twin / Single Bed size: 39" x 76" Marked Drexel. Antique white, gold trim on molding and factory original floral stenciling. Good condition, minor wear. Headboard: 42 1/2" tall Footboard: 23" tall Siderails: 7 1/2" tall from ground, 8 1/2" bedding tall x 12" overall tall. We will accommodate pick up or your mover.
