Pair of highly decorative, oriental vases Could be Japanese or Chinese - I am not an expert and therefore can't tell Handpainted with birds, trees, leaves 24cm tall Deliberate crazing in the glaze which suggests Satsuma to me but I am not sure Signed at the bottom. Please see photos No restoration or damage - as far as I can tell they are in perfect condition Due to the concerning fact that an increasing number of parcels seem to " vanish " lately during transport by Royal Mail I now only send items " Signed for " if they make more than £ 10 in auction. It seems to be the only way to insure that they get to their destination. ************ You may check out the item in person BEFORE the end of the auction. Before you bid, you must read my conditions underneath and ONLY proceed to bid if you are sure that you accept them. Conditions : I am a private seller and have been selling items from my own stock on ebay since 2004. I sell to replace items from my own home with something new but without the aim to make a profit. My starting price is therefore low in hope that I will achieve the price I had to pay. However, I am therefore not able to refund or do deals after the auction as I don't want to end up loosing money either ! Hundreds of happy ebayers have left appreciative feedback which clearly reflects my personal and honest service. I don't do this as a business and therefore are not driven by greed or profit. My describtions are as accurate and honest as possible but I am not an expert on antiques or any thing else. Please study the photos carefuly and make sure that you can see what you need to see. I take great care with save packaging and spend hours finding the right boxes. I recycle packaging material were it makes sense in order to keep your P&P expenses down. However, in hundreds of items being shipped safely, there is the rare breakage despite all efforts being made to prevent damage. On that occasion I can not accept liability for loss or damge during transport . So please DO NOT ASK FOR A REFUND or threaten me with bad feedback ! I generally do ship abroad but ONLY after the buyer has enquired about postage by FRIDAY MORNING or accepts the price charged by the post office. I do not make any money on postage, charging what ebay gives as an estimate. Most times I end up paying the extra myself....... BUYERS FROM THE US please be aware that postage to your country might be excessively expensive as all my items are based in ENGLAND - UK. INSURANCE : I generally post everything first class but DO NOT offer insurance because it is extremely difficult to get your money back. However, if you insist on insurance you agree to deal with it ! You are always welcome to arrange pick up in person or arrange your own courier. We are here most of the time but a mutual time that suits both parties needs to be agreed. Most people who I dealt with on ebay have been a pleasure but more recently I had to put up with very sad and bitter people who seem to drive on critisising, threatening and abusing honest, decent individuals like myself. If you are such a person, than I ask you to stay away from my site. I have a very good feedback score and that is how it is going to stay. I shall not give in to low lifes who want to spoil this in order to get their own way or get an item for free.
