Display here is a Pair of XV bergeres, dated: early 20 th Century. Pierce cartouche crest continuing with rounded profiles and so proportion in size and scale of the chair. With a loose cushion in its wide comfy seat and low back that merges fluidly into the arms. Original painted polychrome light olive with gilt highlighting the carved details. Held by cabriole legs with scroll leaf feet, great looking pieces that you can place anywhere in your home. Upholstered in cotton muslin fabric which is meant to be recovered, expect minor imperfections on the grain of the fabric. These pieces are becoming very hard to acquire.
