THIS PIECE RECENTLTY SOLD FOR $260.00, HOWEVER THE BUYER MISUNDERSTOOD THAT HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR NYS SALES TAX SINCE HE WAS A NYS RESIDENT, THEREFORE I AM RELISTING IT. Nice stoneware jug, ovoid, approx. 1 gallon. Approx. 11" high, 5" base diameter, and 10" width at its most bulbous point. Marked M. TYLER / ALBANY / 1. From Albany, N.Y. Has a nice blue flower on it. Blue also highlights the lettering of the stamp. Nice bold stamp. It has a very small (nailhead sized, shallow) chip on the lip, but is otherwise mint - no cracks, or repairs. A really nice Hudson Valley piece of stoneware, ca. 1840. I will refund the cost of the piece if not satisfied! Successful buyer to include $20 postage / insurance, or can arrange pickup if near the Hudson or Albany NY area. NYS buyers to include 8% sales tax unless a valid resale # is provided.
