Wonderful decorated real ostrich egg with wooden stand. The egg is full decorated in all sides with Zebras in their natural environment. This was purchased from the high end shop Scully & Scully several years ago. Their retail price is $185. Here is their description of this beautiful egg:" In the tradition of the coveted painted ostrich eggshells of ancient Nubia, these beautiful scenes are reproduced from paintings by African and international artists. The wonderful coloration comes from approximately fifty layers of lacquer. Only unfertilized emptied shells are used; each is unique in size and shape. These average 4 ½" diameter x 7"h. A wooden stand is included with each."Condition: It is in perfect condition with the original Haus design sticker intact.
