For sale: Ornate Ostby & Barton 6ct Ruby 10k White Gold Filigree Ring. Ring is a size 4.75 and weighs 2.3g. In great condition! Genuine Ruby (tested) may or may not be lab created. The setting is a beautiful filigree setting. It really lets the light shine through. Beautiful gold work, finest of it's day! This ring is hallmarked 10k with a Maltese Cross for Ostby & Barton. The OB stamp as covered over when ring was resized. The Maltese Cross hallmark was Ostby's personal hallmark. It meant the ring was made personally by him, which dates this ring to 1911 or earlier.This is a rare find and a treasure indeed! Being Ostby & Barton... it is also a great investment! In 1912, one hundred and seven years ago this April 15th, the Titanic went down with Ostby on board. He perished, while his daughter was saved.Not only is it a very attention getting piece but it is also a very rare and highly sought after set! Please see pics for more info. Sold as is.
