Item is a 100 knot Red Orthodox Prayer Rope with silver colored alloy beads. The Prayer Rope is also known as a Chotki, or a Komboskini. It was tied in the traditional manner using the Chotki Knot and accompanied by recitation of the Jesus Prayer as is traditional. The Prayer Rope is constructed of red 2.5 centimeter satin rattail cord. It is approximately 10 inches (34cm) long. It contains silver colored "Tibetan Silver" beads. Tibetan silver is a copper, tin alloy. It contains no silver. The ends of the material are secured with E6000 glue. For every 10 of these prayer ropes sold at least 1 will be donated to an Orthodox or Eastern Catholic Priest to dispense as he sees fit Wherever you obtain a prayer rope it is our desire that it helps you to become more aware of the presence of our Lord Jesus. The Knots can easily be stretched to accommodate the fingers. If asked when ordered we would be happy to slightly stretch the Prayer Rope for you.
