Antique victorian sliding brass (or bronze?) bookends. Ornate design with a gargoyle / north wind, cherubs / putti, griffins, and a caped man holding flowers. Sits on ball feet. Gorgeous detail in great condition. I don't see anything wrong with the pieceI can't find a makers mark.
