"BEE #56" was painted along with all my other Bee's in response to the little bit of publicity that has been published about their survival. They are responding to all the pesticides and GMO's they have to deal with every day. Humans are killing them and when they are gone, what do you think will happen?Bees buzzing busily around the flowers in our home landscape are my subjects. I will sit for a very long time taking photos of them and the Dragonflies and sometimes Butterflies. I have several real models that have gone into the greenhouse and died. I assume they couldn't find their way out or it was just their time. The Bumble Bee's are the prettiest of course.I made this frame too.
