Up for auction is a k98 84/98 combat bayonet for the Mauser rifle. Blade measures 10 inches long. The blade has never been sharpened and is nick and damage free. The blade retains approx 95% of the blueing. The blade is marked Carl Eickhorn and serial number 6248b. The crossguard also has the serial number stamped into it, 6248. The blade spine is dated 39 (1939). Eickhorn bayonets are rated scarce. The bakelite composition grips are in overall excellent condition, no cracks or splits. The pommel button works perfectly. The pommel blueing rates 98%. The scabbard is dent free, but has a couple of small dings . The scabbard is marked Carl Eickhorn 1939 and serial number 9645x. Buyer must be 18 years old or older. I can't ship this to CHINA or Italy. Shipping in the US will be $11.00 for priority mail with tracking, foreign shipping will be at cost (at the end of the auction I'll pack the bayonet and get you an actual shipping cost from the post office). Insurance cost will be determined at the end of the auction according to the actual selling price. I accept most forms of payment, just inquire. I offer a 7 day return policy.
