OP SAIL '76 Bicentennial CelebrationCommemorative Bronze Plaque1976 Operation SailThis bicentennial celebration plaque incorporates a 3/8" thick, cast bronze medallion with Op Sail Tall Ships and bicentennial logos with serial number.The medallion itself is 7 1/4 " across and mounted on10" x 10" x ¾" routed walnut backing with mounting hook. Approximate weight 4 lbs.This item was stored in its wrapping and never hung.Cast in bronze in 1976 to commemorate the Bicentennial of the American Revolution.This plaque depicts the 1976 Operation Sail that took place in NYC in 1976 to celebrate The American Revolution Bicentennial 1776/1976. There are 3 tall ships etched and raised on this circular plaque. The words "OP SAIL '76" appear on it as well as a logo with the words "American Revolution Bicentennial 1776-1976" circling the logo.I have 5 of these for sale. Each with a different number in the series. You will receive 0042, 0050, 0051, 0054, or 0110.
