MA, CIRCA 1730-1750 IN MAPLE AND ASH.ALL ORIGINAL WITH ITS ORIGINAL RUSH SEAT. IT HAS A NICE OLD DARKENED ORIGINAL VARNISH SURFACE.A WONDERFUL EARLY QUEEN ANNE American side chair. It has a fully developed crest and a highly developed and carved center splat. It is block turned with a cant to the rear.IT HAS A BOLD TURNED SINGLE FRONT STRETCHER AND A SINGLE SIDE STRETCHER.IT HAS THE BOLDEST HAND CARVED SPANISH FEET.NO REPAIRS TO THE FEET THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL.This great chair stands 40 1/2" tall.
