An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B Teaser One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm])The Omen, the 1976 Richard Donner English/U.S. Satanic Antichrist horror thriller starring Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, and David WarnerNote that this poster is the rare re-called style A teaser from this movie! It is hard to photograph but the boy's shadow at upper left forms an upside-down cross that extends into the center of the poster (it is easier to see in our super-sized image). When this poster first appeared, religious leaders were outraged at the sacrilegious portrayal of an upside-down cross and this poster caused much controversy. So much so that the poster was pulled almost immediately and new teasers were issued with a less controversial wolf's shadow image. Please bid knowing that this is the rare "re-called" version of this teaser! (U.S.)Condition: good -- The poster was folded somewhat oddly, resulting in some creasing along the folds and fine surface paper loss along portions of some foldlines. There are some scuff marks at center. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
