This is a vintage Olde World globe bookends made in Italy. The globes spins and have graduated circles, one of the larger circle represents the signs of the zodiac, the bookends themselves are made of wood and the scroll or "legenda" describes that the original globes were made of papier mache and speaks of land mass, etc. The bookends are in excellent condition and are 6 1/2" long, 4" wide and 6 1/2" high. The wood seems to be real rather than composite but I'm not 100% sure. The stamp underneath says Olde world globe, Made in Italy. Will need a little dusting on the inside.NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE USA.
